Why Blackboy Blueprint ®️ is Critical

1: Limited Career Pathways

with less than 8% representation in the high-income trades and a Black male graduation rate of just 59% there is a lack of exposure to alternative, debt-free career options that offer stability and generational impact.

2: Mental Health Crisis

Black boys are among the least likely to receive mental health care, despite facing rising rates of anxiety, depression, and suicide. Stigma, lack of access, and cultural disconnects keep them underserved (NAMI, JAMA Pediatrics)

3: Economic Disparties

Nearly 1 in 3 Black children live in poverty. Early financial literacy and trade education have proven to break cycles of poverty and empower youth to build wealth.
